For Children and Teens
ADHD, autism, learning disorders, and developmental concerns for ages 2 through 18.
Children and Teen Evaluations→Clarity is the starting point. Dr. Brooke Colman, a licensed Clinical Psychologist, offers doctoral-level psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and adults across the lifespan (from age two through adulthood), along with integrative therapy. We are part of Michigan Healthcare Professionals (MHP), with our primary location in Bloomfield Hills and telehealth available through PSYPACT (the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact), the interstate authorization that lets Dr. Colman provide evaluations remotely in 41 participating states and jurisdictions.

Whether you are a parent seeking answers for a young child, a teen navigating school and social demands, or an adult who has wondered for years whether ADHD or autism explains your experience, Encore Psychology offers comprehensive testing at the stage of life where clarity matters most.
Every evaluation is built around the person in front of us, not a generic checklist.

Whether you have wondered about ADHD for years, or are exploring what an autism diagnosis might mean for your life, a comprehensive evaluation at Encore gives you documented clarity grounded in who you actually are, not a generic profile.
Adult ADHD testing is a thorough, multi-method assessment designed to capture how you focus, organize, process, and function across the areas of your life that matter most. Results translate into concrete strategies, not just a label.
Adult autism evaluations are built around the understanding that many adults seeking assessment later in life have already developed their own ways of navigating the world. Testing names what has always been true, and opens the door to support that fits.
Dr. Brooke Colman offers integrative, CBT-anchored therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. We are actively building our therapy team to serve more people in the coming months. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, a life transition, or something harder to name, therapy at Encore is built around you, not a standard template.
Learn About Therapy →Our reports run 15 to 30 pages and go well beyond a diagnosis. Every evaluation is a roadmap: individualized strategies, therapy recommendations, and accommodation guidance drawn from your specific results and life circumstances.
Just because we use a standardized measure doesn't mean we don't take into account that every experience you have is very unique.
We deliberately say support rather than help, because everyone benefits from additional support at different points in life. Encore is a steppingstone on a lifelong journey, not a one-time stop. You are welcome to return as your life changes, without starting over.
Encore Psychology is part of Michigan Healthcare Professionals (MHP), a physician group serving metro Detroit. In-person appointments are available Monday through Friday at 33 Bloomfield Hills Pkwy #225, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.

We’ve made adult autism evaluation a focus of our practice. You can see us in person at our Michigan offices, or virtually from any of the 41 jurisdictions covered by PSYPACT, the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact that lets a psychologist see clients across state lines.
Evaluations at Encore follow a relationship-centered model led by Dr. Colman:
A dedicated session before testing, so your history and questions shape which measures are used.
In person at our Bloomfield Hills office, at our Westland location when available, or via secure telehealth through PSYPACT where appropriate.
A guided conversation to walk through results in plain language.
A comprehensive, multi-section report (typically 15 to 30 pages) with individualized recommendations, not just diagnostic conclusions.
Report turnaround depends on payment type: typically 5 to 10 business days for private pay, and 4 to 8 weeks for insurance. An expedited 48-hour written report is available for private-pay clients for an additional fee.
Contact us about current availability when you are ready to schedule.
The Full Evaluation Process →We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Blue Care Network (BCN), and Priority Health for evaluations. Private pay is available. We are not in-network with UnitedHealthcare; superbills are provided on request. Contact us for current fees before scheduling.
Fees and Insurance →Dr. Colman is the supervising doctoral clinician on every evaluation. As the practice grows, testing specialists will work under her supervision, and reports remain grounded in doctoral-level oversight.
An evaluation here ends with a roadmap, not a verdict. Recommendations are written to be carried into IEPs, accommodations applications, therapy, court filings, or family conversations, whichever you came for.

Encore Psychology is working toward expanding our clinical and therapy team in the coming months. If you are a licensed psychologist, therapist, or clinical support professional who shares our relationship-centered, strengths-based approach, we would like to hear from you.
This is a goal we are actively building toward, not a description of a team that exists today. Inquiries are welcome through our contact form; please note “Careers inquiry” in your message.
