Psychological Testing and Evaluations
Psychological testing is a structured, in-depth process. It uses validated measures to understand how a person thinks, learns, processes information, and relates to the world around them. At Encore Psychology, every evaluation results in a detailed, multi-section report delivered as a practical roadmap: specific strategies, recommendations, and next steps grounded in your individual results.
We offer evaluations across the lifespan, from age two through adulthood. Testing is available in person at 33 Bloomfield Hills Parkway, Suite 225, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304, Monday through Friday, and via telehealth through PSYPACT in 40 states.

Find the Right Evaluation
Adults (Ages 18 and Up)
Adult evaluations at Encore focus on clarity for people who have been wondering, struggling, or seeking answers for a long time. Our two flagship adult evaluations address the questions we hear most often.
- Adult ADHD Testing: a comprehensive assessment for adults seeking an ADHD evaluation or formal diagnosis. Learn more
- Adult Autism Evaluation: a thorough, strengths-based assessment for adults exploring a later-in-life autism diagnosis. Learn more
Children and Teens (Ages 2 to 17)
We work with families navigating ADHD, autism, learning disorders, and developmental concerns. Evaluations include recommendations designed specifically for school, home, and beyond.
See Pediatric and Teen Evaluations →Neuropsychological Evaluations
Neuropsychological testing examines the relationship between brain function and behavior in detail: attention, memory, processing speed, and executive functioning. Often requested alongside or instead of a standard psychological evaluation.
Neuropsychological Evaluations →Accommodations Evaluations
We provide documentation evaluations for academic and professional testing accommodations, including the BAR, MCAT, ACT, SAT, and LSAT. An expedited 48-hour turnaround is available for private-pay clients for an additional fee.
Accommodations Evaluations →Specialty and Forensic Evaluations
Encore offers adoption, reproductive and fertility, guardianship, driver’s license restoration, and fitness-for-duty evaluations, as well as parenting and custody evaluations.
Specialty Evaluations →Online and Telehealth Evaluations
Through PSYPACT, we provide psychological evaluations remotely to clients in 40 states. The same clinical standards apply, whether you are in our Bloomfield Hills office or connecting from home.

Standardized tools, individualized application
We use validated, evidence-based measures, but we choose which ones based on the specific question you or your child arrived with, not a default battery for a diagnostic category.
Reports that actually get used
The diagnostic conclusion is one section of the report. The recommendations, for school, therapy, accommodations, and medical follow-up, are the larger part, written for your life or your child's.
A relationship, not a transaction
Many clients come back, for a follow-up evaluation, for another family member, or for an updated report years later. The relationship does not end when the report does.
What to Expect from the Process
Evaluations at Encore begin with an intake conversation. Testing uses both traditional and iPad-based measures, selected and calibrated to each individual. The final report is multi-page and includes individualized recommendations, not just diagnostic conclusions. A feedback session is offered to walk through results together.
Typical turnaround:
- Private pay: report within 5 to 10 business days
- Insurance (BCBS, BCN, Priority Health): 6 to 8 weeks
- Expedited 48-hour report: private pay only, additional fee
