Adult ADHD Testing
Our most-requested adult evaluation. A comprehensive, multi-method ADHD assessment for adults who want to understand whether ADHD explains their experience, or who need a formal diagnosis for accommodations, documentation, or their own clarity.
Adult Autism Evaluation
A thorough, strengths-based autism assessment for adults pursuing answers later in life. Many people who seek an adult autism evaluation have spent years developing their own ways of navigating the world. Testing can name what has always been true and open the door to support that feels genuinely right.
Neuropsychological Evaluation
Neuropsychological testing examines attention, memory, processing speed, and executive functioning in depth. Often requested by adults experiencing changes in cognitive function, or those seeking a comprehensive baseline.
Learning Disorder Evaluations
For adults who have always found reading, writing, or math harder than it should be. Testing produces documentation for college, graduate, and professional programs, and for testing-board accommodations. Learning disorder evaluations are private pay only.
Accommodations Evaluations
For adults seeking documentation for professional or academic testing accommodations, including the BAR, MCAT, and LSAT. An expedited 48-hour report is available for private-pay clients for an additional fee.
Specialty and Forensic Evaluations
We offer adoption, reproductive and fertility, fitness-for-duty, driver’s license restoration, guardianship, and parenting and custody evaluations for adults.

Where the evaluation can happen

We offer adult evaluations for individuals ages 18 and up, in person at 33 Bloomfield Hills Parkway, Suite 225, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304, Monday through Friday.
Online, in 40 states
PSYPACT is an agreement among participating states that lets a licensed psychologist work with clients across state lines. We see adult clients virtually in 40 states.

Every adult evaluation at Encore results in a detailed, multi-page written report, written in plain language and structured as a practical roadmap. It includes a full summary of findings, diagnostic conclusions where applicable, and individualized recommendations: strategies, accommodations guidance, and therapy recommendations tailored specifically to you.
A feedback session is offered to walk through results together. The goal is that you leave with direction, not just information.

Insurance and Turnaround
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Blue Care Network (BCN), and Priority Health for most adult evaluations. Private pay is available. We do not accept Medicaid.
Typical turnaround after testing is complete:
- Private pay: 5 to 10 business days
- Insurance: 6 to 8 weeks (or longer)
- Expedited 48-hour report: private pay only, additional fee
- Learning disorder evaluations: private pay only
Wait time from first contact to your initial appointment is typically around six weeks.
